Administrative Advisor: Ken Hunsberger, Director of Student Leadership
Platoons (Boys’ Discipleship Groups)

Description: Wild at Heart Platoons meet the first and third Thursdays of each month. All 9th and 10th grade boys are in a platoon, with freshmen lead by juniors, and sophomores lead by seniors. While they do undertake the process of using a book as a catalyst for discussion (Every Young Man's Battle), the primary purpose of the meeting is to facilitate a mentoring and encouraging process from our upperclassmen to the younger boys in the high school. The leaders also check on their platoon members throughout the days in between formal meeting times. The name, “Wild at Heart,” is taken from the book by John Eldredge. The leaders meet separately once each month to prepare for the coming meetings.
