Axis is structured to communicate the timeless truths of God’s Word in a way that engages the hearts and minds of our students. The time is named “Axis” because an axis is the central line around which objects rotate. In the same way, our lives must necessarily revolve around worship and the Word of God. Axis is scheduled at mid-day every Wednesday, the center of the school week.
As a student-led and student-produced worship time, the Axis team works to intentionally weave together video, music, drama, art and verbal exposition of biblical truth in an effective and coherent manner. Parents and Providence alumni are also encouraged to attend Axis if possible.
