With a rigorous college prep curriculum and
teachers who have a passion for their subjects, our students get the kind of
instruction that prepares them not only to do well on the SAT and get into
college, but also to be lifelong learners. These four years are a time to learn about as much as you can, while preparing to be part of that
world, which is why service work is required.
Wherever they end up, we want these
young adults to be able to think beyond themselves and to impact their communities
for God's kingdom.
And our faculty leads students on this journey. Every Bible
teacher
has graduated from seminary; some teachers are Ph.D.s in their field of
study; but all have a heart for helping teenagers discover their potential.
Using a variety of approaches in class, each has a special way of showing their
students that God works in all things – from math to history to fine arts.
Because of our Christ-centered classrooms, weekly AXIS and four years of Bible,
students leave Providence with a solid educational and spiritual foundation
that enables them to learn, lead and serve with a uniquely Christian worldview.
As one of our alumnus college freshman’s mother said as she drove
away from the Georgia Tech campus, “Through
our partnership with Providence, we’ve given him a solid education as
well as an amazing biblical foundation. We've prepared him for his next step.”
